IHB Ship Design in numbers – 15 years of experience, 80 in-house engineers, 400+ completed projects
The beginning of IHBShipDesign is set in 2007 when a joint venture between Vik-Sandvik and IHB ShipDesign was established. In 2008 Wartsila acquires Vik-Sandvik and the company changes its name to Wartsila IHB ShipDesign. In 2010 Wartsila terminates the partnership in the joint venture. The company continues its activities in the ship repair and retrofit upgrades and conversions area as an independent company – IHB ShipDesign member, of Industrial Holding Bulgaria.
In 2020 we expanded our portfolio by establishing the subsidiary company IHB 3Design. Its main focus is providing solutions for the Industrial and Interior sector.
It is 2021 and we are looking forward to keeping on following our mission and develop our capabilities. We can’t wait to face the new challenges that are ahead and we can say that our history is still being written.
IHB 3Design is a subsidiary company to IHB ShipDesign. The company delivers Interior design solutions as well as designs for the Industrial sector. The company uses the latest technologies to create a high-quality digital experience.
IHB 3Design implements the numerous advantages of the AR and VR techniques in industrial sites, offshore installations and vessels, architecture, urban projects and many more.
We have four separate departments covering every discipline involved in the design process. We pride ourselves on our engineers, each one highly skilled in the specific area.
